Terms and Conditions

By making a booking with us you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Payment

We request a 10% non-refundable deposit at time of booking a camping, caravan, campervan, motorhome or bell-tent pitch. This deposit secures your booking. Payment of the remaining balance is required on arrival day on site. We reserve the right to cancel the booking if full payment is not made and retain all deposits to cover administrative costs.

Cancellations by You

If you wish to cancel your booking, please let us know as soon as possible. You can contact us by the contact page on our website. If the booking is cancelled less than 7 days before arrival then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made. If the booking is cancelled 7 or more days before arrival then a charge equal to 10% of the stay will be made. In the event of a no show or booking reduction (after arrival date) the full cost of the booking is charged.

Cancellations by Us

We reserve the right to cancel a camping, caravan, campervan, motorhome, or bell tent booking at short notice for any reason whatsoever. Its liability will be limited to all monies paid by you to us in respect to that booking up to and including the date of cancellation. We will return these monies to you as soon as possible. We cannot accept liability or responsibility for any loss, including consequential loss, caused by cancellation.

Your Stay

We want each guest to have the best experience with us. Please respect and follow the site rules as outlined below. Failure to follow will result in you being asked to leave site. We reserve the right to terminate your stay if you or members of your group are causing a nuisance to the other guests. No refund will be issued in such an event.

Check-in and Check-out Times

Check-in times is between 1.30pm and 8pm. If you are running late please telephone to advise us on 01437 532820. Check-out times – please vacate your pitch by 11am on your day of departure. If you have hired a firepit please make sure it is returned.

Pets

We are a dog friendly campsite. Dogs must be kept on the lead when in the camping field. We have a separate off-lead meadow. Please select Dog as an extra on the booking form. Only 1 dog is allowed in our bell tents.

Campfires

Campfires and BBQ are allowed, if you would like to hire a firepit with starters and logs/firewood please reserve it on the booking form. Open fires are not allowed on the ground. If you use BBQ’s they must be raised off the ground. Hired firepits must be returned at the end of your stay.

Loss/ damage of Property

We do not accept any responsibility for lost, damaged or stolen property on our premises however caused during your stay. All items are left unattended at the owners risk. You are responsible for keeping your belongings safe.

Please drive carefully, any damage caused to vehicles or accessories is not the fault of management.

Additional Terms and Conditions for Bell Tent bookings

Whilst staying in the bell tent you are responsible for any damages or breakages that occur, other than acceptable wear and tear. We reserve the right to charge if a bell tent has been left in an unacceptable condition. Inspections may take place at the end of your stay.
